IW4x is an open source project that allows you to set up your own dedicated servers with modifications for Modern Warfare 2 on top of a decentralized network.
IW4x is a modified client for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 which features new content and cheat-protected, dedicated servers. With the recent resurgence in interest for the classic Call of Duty titles, namely Modern Warfare 2, we figured now would be a great time to make sure everybody is aware of the IW4x project.
